Our Core Beliefs
This Church is identified with the great movement for the restoration of the New Testament Church:
By Wearing a New Testament Name
The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch (Acts 11:26)
You almost persuade me to become a Christian (Acts 26:28)
By Believing a New Testament Creed
You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God and on this rock I will build my church (Matthew 16:16,18)
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 3:11)
By Obeying a New Testament Baptism
He who believes and is baptized will be saved (Mark 16:16)
There is also an anti-type which now saves us, namely baptism, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ (I Peter 3:21)
By Observing a New Testament Communion
Do this in remembrance of me (Luke 22:19)
On the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread (Acts 20:7)
By Practicing a New Testament Stewardship
It is more blessed to give than to receive (Acts 20:35)
On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper (I Cor. 16:2)
By Living a New Testament Life
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers
(Acts 2:42)
Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life (Revelation 2:10)
